air flow sensor

I was looking at upgrading my air flow sensor on my exped it is a 99 4.6 in it has anybody done this does it make a difference also looking at puting a airraid system on it. Is it worth the money or am i wasting my time also what is the stock size of the air flow sensor?

I really doubt that on a stock engine you will notice much difference by replacing the MAF. If you modify the engine to get a lot more air flowing in and out of it then I can see doing the upgrade.
