I have an '07 Expedition Limited EL 4x4 that's been a great vehicle. I would like a new KR EL but the only thing keeping me from ordering one is the future availability of the new engines. I'd hate to get a new '11 and six months later find out the new engines were about to be offered. Is there any word on when the engines will be changed? Should I just wait until next summer and order a '12 when maybe the engines will be updated?
I decided to order an '11. Royal red, KR, 4x4, EL, nav system and rear captains chairs. I figure with gas prices going up it's going to hit the large SUV's pretty hard by summer so I needed to trade while my '07 is worth something and interest rates are still low. Should be here in six weeks.
Congrats on the new ride can"t wait to see some pix when you get it. Curiosity, was/is the 07 giving you some problems - or just time for a change. Thanks, Mike

No problems with the '07, in fact it's been the best vehicle I've ever owned. I usually trade every 3-4 years. I don't have the nav in the '07 and I'm wanting to have it now. Also wanted the King Ranch. Couldn't get it in '07. I'm on my second KR pickup, an '08 F-450, the Ultimate Pickup.
