Is it legal to start a parts swappin thread? i'm fixin to dismantle a 86 for the engine, but need some parts for my 89. See other people on here lookin for stuff all the time as well. like sending units, gauges ect.. I know its hard to find some of this stuff in the real world, so i thought maybe we all could help each other. You know you all have extra parts layin around. I need 6.9 head gaskets! and other parts for my 89. i figure swapin would help two idi freaks and once. Oh, and i have the short block 7.3 that came out of the 89. one of the pistons is banged up(dropped a valve) but rest is there. Let me know. Oh, and if this aint legal on this forum, it should be. Just my thought. It would help us all, i believe.
Visit the classified area at the top of the page...... make a list and place some info. I would think an occasional post on this forum re (look at my parts for trade or sale in the classifieds) would not raise eyebrows. As long as you do not start listing them on here.
so far ill let this slide.remember to keep specifics in private messages.i probably shouldnt let it but being its trading and not selling i guess it could be a loop hole to cover my behind.
So I can say, check out my classified add for my 86 f250 idi truck parts for trade, not for sell. i need 89 idi parts. Pic of truck and details in classifieds. Search "parts swap"
Right front turnsignal lense, cab lights, front end parts, lift options, right front fender, 16.5 chrome wagon wheel for my spare, decent radio, even factory would be cool. . ect...just about any spare part i can find for this truck. this is the truck i want to do the shackle flip and reversal on possibly. I am kickin around buying the setup from sky high.
