Well as soon as I find my usb cable Ill have pictures posted. I had gone to the junk yard and found a nice donor truck, I got new complete doors and mirrors. This is where I found out my passenger power window has a problem inside the cab. I also pulled a full gauge cluster with trip odometer and tach. I started by pulling my beat up passenger door and installin my new white and orange door (anyone know that u-haul used 85 f250 lariats?), the orange had been painted over but it still shows through. I pulled out my dremal and drilled new holes for my mirrors and hooked up the power locks/window harness. My window acts the same way it did when I bought the truck only intermittent, so I grab my old harness and hook it up and it didnt change. So two different motors and wire harnesses, I figure the problems in the cab itself. I then tear apart my gauge cluster and test my new tach and speedo, they work fine. Only problem I had was the oil gauge wasnt reading right. I do my own white face gauge upgrade (which Ill have pics up later) and reinstall my gauges. Now my only workin gauges are my charge and speedo. So Im goin to the junk yard once again after payday to find a new circuit paper for my new tach

Reason: Fix grammar in title
For $80 you can have a brand new NOS Ranger Lariat emblem that you can put where the XLT emblem is currently. Then, you'll have your Lariat emblem on the bezel, and your trim level can sound less plain.
I was even thinkin bout grabbin some ranger gauge and radio bezels for the darker wood grain. On the subject of wood grain are there kits to add a little more to these trucks? Id like to add some to the doors and above the glovebox between the vents. Im tryin to get the feelin of drivin a lariat instead of an XLT that has door pockets
How easy is it to repair a bed? Mines solid, although it has a ball in the middle of it and the whole right panel needs replaced. The right corner needs some repair do to an old blowout, tailgate closes a little funny (could also be its a cruddy gate too). I dont know if goin through all the trouble of finding a completely straight bed would be worth it if I can find bits and peices and work it slowly. But like I said the right rear corner needs to be worked out. I know thats a major support point on the bed, so is it worth fixing or is it worth findin a new bed? I can post pics if anyone would like.
As far as I know, nobody mass produces a decent wood grain kit for these trucks. Your best bet is to find an 80-84 Ranger Lariat, Bronco Ranger XLT, XLT Lariat, or Bronco XLT and grab the wood grain door panel trim from it, and then either switch your bezel to the rosewood type, or recover the door panel trim with some burlwood decals that you can have a local print shop make for you.
As for above the glovebox, i'm not sure how you could do this. I've seen some F600+ trucks that look like they might have a special panel covering that area between the A/C, but I don't know if it's removeable. If so, you could use this and cover it in wood grain decals. However, if that's not the case, there's not much that can be done with that area because simply laying a decal over it will just allow the grain in the dash plastic to show through the decal. You could try to glass that area, but i'm not sure if the decal would stick to fiberglass.
I thought about tryin some drawer liner that glues to the bottom of dresser drawers, if I can find it in the proper grain. Then sand smooth the area I apply it to. Not sure how thatll turn out. I can look into the F600+ but Im not sure theres many around here. Headin to the junk yard this weekend so Ill be takin a look for anythin I can get my dirty fingers on. Maybe even new front captains seats, haha.
