Im doin the dpf/cat delete in the next 2 weeks. I dont care about power I care about getting rid of that dpf which spikes the egts to the moon and causes poorer gas mileage. All Im doin is gettin rid of the dpf/cat and keepin the rest of the exhaust. I have read I should by replacement sensors cause the old ones are kinda stuck or may break off in the old pipe? Which tuner can just delete the sensors? Or give me a tune that is good for towing? God knows I dont want something so conservative that I lose power I just dont want something that builds extra boost which kills head gaskets and overheats the drivetrain.

Spartan is still the best choice. Their newest tuner/tunes no longer requires the sensors in the delete pipe.
I am leaning heavily in that direction they seem to be the most proffesional and most knowledgeable as well as have the tuner that doesnt require the sensors in the pipe. I use my truck and I wanted a a minimal power gain with out the regen coming on EVER again.

Is there anyone here who has had a high hp tune on there 6.4 for say more than 50k miles? I want to know if our motor is better than the 6.0 or if we have the same head gasket issues when we through power at it?

I can't completely answer your question about head gaskets, but I can say that my head gaskets started leaking after 10,000miles on stock tune. It was puking now & then. They (ford dealer) would top it off during service, but say nothing about it. Last winter I finally had them really check out the problem because it was getting much worse (I was running the high HP tunes by then). The high HP tunes just made them completely fail that much sooner. So, for the last 14,000 miles or so it's been flawless conserning head gaskets. BTW- I had them install Elite Head studs while they were at it.
