Which company for e4od rebuild
I am planning a conversion project for the near future. I just want to have all of my bases covered before dumping money into this project. I want to put a 12 V cummins diesel into a '92 bronco. The axles and suspension will be upgraded, but I want to know who makes a bullet proof transmission which would be able to handle the massive amounts of torque from the cummins. A few companies come to mind: level ten, jet, ATS etc. I have heard good reviews of ATS triple lok torque converters, I just haven't heard alot of advice for the e4od in high performance applications. I would rather spend a little extra now than have the transmission fail prematurely. I plan on bombing the cummins to at least 600 lb-ft at the rear wheels, but at the same time I will not be towing any loads. Any recommendations or advice would be greatly appreciated.
