I plan on putting it in my truck, my family just happened to have a 1989 or 90 Ford Escort that we have been using for parts. Our 1986 Escort's clock is the same. As far as I know every 1981-1990 Escort has it.
Get installed yet? I would love to see the finished product. Wiring is easy, just wondering how the fit looks.
Cheers!
Yeah, I got it installed I just slapped it back together without wiring it in yet so I didn't have to drive around without my radio bezel on.
Unfortunately, the wide black pastic cover with the holes in it for the buttons, and LCD is slightly shorter on the passenger side than one made for the F-Series. So basically it left a small portion of the passenger side bezel hole uncovered. So I fused a piece of black plastic to it to fill that in..
If I wanted to, I could just make a new faceplate with a piece of black plastic or thin metal and remove the old one from the block. If I wanted it to look good.
