I've had the Ebay heim joint fix for about 2 1/2 years now and it works perfectly. Worth the $40 IMO... I don't see the problem with the heim joint like y'all are complaining about...

I just saw it. Sounds to me like the clutch master or slave is giving up on you. I'd go ahead and get a full pre-bled unit from Ford. Probably cost around $100, maybe a little more, but worth it IMO.

That Unit comes with Slave and Master together? Man I had to install a Slave on my 1990 f250, I thought it was gonna be easy, I had a Hell of a time Compressing the Rod enough to get it up in the slot on the Tranny, I know it comes with a strap on it. Maybe its just me but I had a hard time doing it, is there and easier way to do it?
yes, slave and master together. These trucks are easy to put the slave in. It's not that hard at all to slide it up in there.
Awesome, I think I am gonna go with that system and before I put it in i am gonna install the $40 Helm joint I ordered off Ebay. I should be Set then.
One more question, on the inside under the dash where the master comes in, The Rod has some kind of Sensor on it, black cyl. looking thing. Do I need that? I took it off cause it didnt have anything plugged up to it and it was falling off..lol
Nah, don't need that. That's the sensor that makes it so that you cannot crank the truck without the clutch pedal pushed in. Does your truck currently crank without the clutch pushed in?
Heim joint cut off:
I thought these pics might be helpful, I clamped the shaft with vise-grips and wacked it off.
The cutting process is a little slow, with the long blade I couldn't use much pressure.
Cut off as close to end as possible
I used a regular hack saw blade ground to fit saber saw
I have a good Heim joint now but it still didn't solve my shifting problem. I now think I have to much movement in the pedal box bushings and will need to replace them.

I am not really sure, Havent Tried it yet... You know Driving 5 speeds all my Life its Natural for me to just push it in when starting it.

Thanks for the Pictures, I think I am gonna be getting a New Maters Cyl. so I am gonna cut it off while its outta the truck. How did knocking the Pin/Stud out of the other Peice go?

Marks500, I just ground the head off, set it on top of the open jaws of my vice, used a punch and gave it a few good smacks with a hammer, had to hit it a little harder than I thought.
i have no idea what that kind of cold is like. i worked on some walk in freezers that were pretty brutal, but not real weather. mid 50's and iam freezing
