coolant pipe

I have a '99 f-350 with a broken off coolant pipe. it goes from heater hose to intake. it's the one that presses in. has anyone else replaced this, and how hard is it. if i can peel the old one out, could i possibly freeze the new one and get it in? any insight would be much appreciated. thank you, kevin

I would check a dealer and see if the part is available seperate.

i have the new part, but i'm having trouble getting the old one out. there is only about 1/6 inch sticking out above the intake.
