Most of the trucks do not have dual alternators but a look under the hood should give you the answer. There are high output alternators that go up to 220 amp I think. I saw an ad a while back, maybe it depends on what engine you have that deternimes how high the output is.
Here is one link, these guys currently have a "monthly special" where they install an overdrive pulley on HO alternators. They list both single and dual applications for my truck. It runs $289 for a 220 amp unit for my truck. Hope this helps
