Surging
On my last trip to work my truck started surging alittle at about 65 mph. I looked at the tack and it was losing and gaining about 200-300 rpm. It was happening so fast that the truck didnt really change speed. I pushed the O/D lock out and it gained about 700 rpm. So it wasnt down shifting.
Would this be the torque converter lock up? If it is, do you think it would be the VSS? I suspect this because my cruise was working eraticly before it started doing it. (I turned the cruise off)
Ideas?

I'd start with the simple stuff first... The VSS is simple enough to clean or replace. Torque converters are a bit harder to deal with though not outside the realm of possibility in this case.
