new suspension
Rancho offers 2-inch lift coils. The PN is buried in their catalog but they still have them. To lift the rear, the amount you need is 50% of whatever the lift is in front. For example, the 2-inch coils only needed a 1-inch lift in the back and the PO stacked two leaf springs of unknown origin. Some FTE'ers will say avoid blocks and some say they're okay. That's for you to decide. Any more than 2 inches on the front and you should be adding a dropped pitman arm to your shopping list.
I went with a 4-inch lift with pieces from Skyjacker, Rancho, Rough Country, and Superlift. My system cost me a little more because I opted for the radius arm drop-down brackets and an adjustable trackbar.
I highly recommend getting a polyurethane bushing kit (C-bushings, trackbar, radius arms, leaf springs, etc) from Energy Suspension or similar manufacturer. The track bar bushing seems to be the one that take the most abuse but 'since you're there', you'd be better off replacing everything to have a good foundation. Shocks? Rancho RS5000.
So you want to spend the least money? Then create spreadsheet listing the same parts but from different sources and their cost. Then price it by the kits they sell listing what parts are or are not included. Don't forget to add shipping.. it can add up in a hurry.
