ATF Fluid

Hi All,
I have a 2004 F250 6.0 with automatic.
I'm going to drain the transmission from the plug and change the external filter. What brand of fluid are you using?
I went to wallyworld but nothing had the MERCON SP or LV rating. I would hope I could find something in 1 gal jugs. Any suggestions? brands?

go with the new fluid LV. Ryder fleet products sell it.

Personally, I would Not use anything other than SP or LV...find your local Ford dealers parts distributor...there is one...you just have to ask around....prices are much better from them.

LV is approx. a buck per qt. cheaper than SP at our local dealers.
