New diesel owner in Northern Illinois - 2008 F250 SD 6.4 L turbo - purchased 2 months & 3000 miles ago - now has 30,000 miles - had radiator replaced last week - seal failure - no help from Ford for the $1,200 bill. 36 months expired in Sept.
In the last 10 days it has started blowing white smoke on acceleration -
seems more frequent after sitting at a stop light for 1 or more minutes.
Any suggestions?

Some states must warranty the vehicle for x number of days. I would certainly do two things I would contact the consumer protection division of your attorney generals office and the dealer. I would explain to the dealer the white smoke issue. It maybe nothing but allow the dealer to say that and document it. I am not trying to scare you just cya. And the diesel is covered under warranty.
Powerstroke has a 100k mile warranty on the motor. My 04 F-350 blew white smoke out, come to EGR was toast. Replaced it then headgaskets month later. Ofcourse headstuds were a must.
