Question instrament guages

I have a 78 F150. picked up a new -old fuel guage in original box- problem is the needle is nice orange. I would like to paint the old ones nice orange again . What paint to use or is it a paint . any help would be great
ps --thanks guys for the info to get the new fuel guage!!!

Theres an episode of trucks where they redid a 60 chev, and they just used arange model paint. If you could get a hold of the episode it will have a lot of good info in it.

Model paint such as "Testors" (if the still make it) works great. Also you could try the orange construction paint, just spray some into a paper cup and use a cotton swab.
