I just bought a 1967 ford ranger 250 and im not sure what type of engine is in it i believe its a 5.8 which is what ???? a 351 clevelend I dont know however i just got a holley 650 carb and a original ford doae-9425-L 4b intake manifold will it mount to my trucks engine and is this the original engine that came with it if not what did???????
Your truck most likely came with an FE/FT engine that could be anything from a 332 to a 428 cid by now as there is no way of knowing without seeing it. Most likely it will have a 352 or 360 cid engine. Get the vin and post it, someone will tell you what it came with originally at least.

Welcome to FTE!
Moto Mel is right, but it also COULD have another engine (non-FE) in it also. I just finished a build on a members 65 F100 with a 351 Cleveland in it.....You will probably get a better response if you post your questions here: 1967 - 1972 F-100 & Larger F-Series Trucks - Ford Truck Enthusiasts Forums
