what to do?

Me and my friend took a mud hole to fast and sucked up water in the intake she died on the other side. Disconnected the intake hoses from the air box and she crank back up and made a retreat make home. On the way back the engine kept studdering? where do i go from here?

I would try checking the distributor for water. This will cause the symtoms you describe.

Well, the worst thong that could have happened was you bent a push-rod!! That's what probably happened. The reason this would happen is because water can't compress like air does. So the water pressure bends the rods. This will result in the need for an engine rebuild. Sorry to break the bad news!! HOPE THIS HELPS!

take the distributor cap off and spray wd40 in the cap and on distributor parts. wipe out with a clean rag and you should be good to go. wd40 will disperse the water and i think you have a wet distributor or wires. you can by a spray can of wire drier and spray the wires also

I think you are dealing with a case of wet wires and distributor as well, you can use wd40 and /or a hair dryer (be careful !) to dry things out. I dont think the push rods would be bent since you had the induction system hookesd up when you ran through the water. It would take alot of water to get it through the air filter and induction piping to the engine. You didn't submerge the thing did you ? did you see that sticker on the bottom of the thing that says "do not immerse in water when cleaning." ?
