Will these tires and rims rub?

hey guys,

I need some help with the rims I want to get. I have a non-lifted 2000 F250 7.3 PowerStroke 4x4. The tires I want to put on are 295/65/18, which is a 33" tire. The rim offset hurts my head. I know that my truck came witha 4.5 backspace, but that's with a 16" rim not an 18".

Anyway, my question is this: The 18x9 rim I want comes in -12 and +12 offset. Will either go on without rubbing? Will one stick out much more than the other. I believe we're only talking 1/2 an inch here anyways, but I thought I better ask.

Thanks for the wisdom in advance,

Matt

I have a 18 x 9 wheel with a 0 offset. It sit as close to perfect as can. Only the tire itself sticks out a tiny bit.

Thanks man, I was looking for a 0 offset, but the rims I want don't come like that. Anybody have any other advice?

Go with the one that sticks out vs in. if that's your only choice.

I have 16x8" rims with a -6mm offset (Eagle Type 164) with 285/75-16 tires (effectively 33x11.50"). I don't rub at full lock but I can see where the tires rub slightly on the fender liners when the wheels are turned. I am at stock height (no lift or leveling).

alright guys, thanks or the help. I will go with the +12. I don't think 12mm will stress my hubs.
