Moving IDM?

I just got a call back from the mechanic to find my problem with my truck not starting was the fried IDM. Its due to mositure. The Pre's had them under the hood, but these trucks have them between the inner and outer fender(great place) Has anyone moved the IDM to inside the cab or under the hood? Maybe an extended wiring harness? They only come with 6" of wire. All it takes is a little moisture buildup to arc and fry these $500 modules so it would be a good investment to move them!

thanks,
Josh

No, but check out Auto Computer Exchange on Ebay. I would link it for you, but I can't from work. Their prices on the IDM are the best I have ever been able to find. Less than $500, that's for sure!
