E4OD overdrive/Tach issue
I have a 1993 F 350, 4X4, crew cab with an E 4OD transmission. When the truck runs below 1000 R.P.M. the tach drops out and my overdrive light comes on. When I accelerate above 1000 R.P.M. the tach works great and the overdrive light goes out. Transmission shifts fine, but when I take my foot off the gas, the light comes on again and the tach shuts off again. I'm thinking that this is a tach sensor but can use help in diagnosing this issue. Thanks, Tom.
