valve covers
hi im from the 87-96 forum but i was wondering if anyone had any "power by ford" valve covers for a small block. Id be willing to buy or trade for them ive got the same FE block valve covers but i have a few parts trucks i can pull from for trucks of this era so i can get other parts for trades. Ive gone to all the JYs in my area and i cant find anything. Im rebuilding a motor for my truck and im going carbed and i think they would look sweet blue with white letters kind of a throw back to these trucks. Any help would be awsome i rele dont want to pay 80 bucks + shipping for them off the internet. Thanks... Chuck

^^^Guess I didn't think that was so bad...but I suppose it's relative. I've laid down $200+ for Ford Racing covers...and more for custom built covers. And right around $150 for unblemished M/T covers for a 400.

well compared to a junkyard where i can get them for 20 but around here the old trucks only have the FE/big block valve covers so thats why i was hoping to find some one that had some extra ones laying round because i kno most go for crome ones. It rele comes down to im short on money but not on time and im trying to get them as cheap as possible and am willing to sand them down and paint them because ive got the time with nothing better to do and it keeps me busy.
