tranny,problems
2000-f350 4/4 crew cab reverse is getting very weak can only back up on level ground had tranny fixed at 54000 miles over drive on lever was flashing now have 92000 miles and now cant back up

Welcome to the forum. Could you tell us a little more of the history? How has the truck been drive? What maintenance has been done to the tranny? What was fixed on it before? Have you kept after the fluid levels and correct type, etc? There's some pretty knowledgeable guys here, somebody will probably chime in. Good luck!

AMSCO REDID THE TRANNY WHEN THE OVERDRIVE BUTTON WAS FLASHING AT 54,000 MILES. AMSCO REPLACED TWO VALVE BODIES. ALL FLUIDS HAVE BEEN CHANGED AT REGULAR REQUIREMENTS. YES I DRIVE IT EVERY DAY. NOW THE TRUCK HAS 92,000 MILES ON IT. SOME TIMES IF I BACK UP ON A GRADE I HAVE TO LOCK IT FOUR WHEEL DRIVE LOW LOCK. THE TRANNY HAS BEEN SLIPPING WHEN YOU ARE IN REVERSE.
