1969 Cummins swap
I have a 69 f250 and was looking into doing a cummins with a allison behind it. I have found the motor and trans and can get them with out braking the bank. Has anyone done this and if so how hard was it? Thanks Adam

He's talking about putting a cummins (diesel) into his 69 f250 I don't know much about the swap just from what I've heard u need a body lift to clear the turbo to hood/firewall and down pipe I plan on doing this type of swap eventually so this thread will come in handy for me later hope someone can answer your questions better

I have been planing this same swap for my 70 crew here is one place that sells motor mounts fordcummins.com - Increase Horsepower with Ford Cummins Diesel conversion kits. From what I have read you have to trim the cross member around 2". if the motor is a 12 valve it is simple to wire, if it is a 24 valve it requires some wiring.
