front end conversions
Good day all
this is my first post here, have been trying to use the search but no happy results.
anyway I am looking for a new project and have my eye on a 67 f250 4x4. The first thing I want too do is put in power steering and front disc brakes. My first idea is to use a newer complete front end. Is this practicle and what is involed.

Hi Bob and welcome to 
I won't even pretend to know the 4x4's enough to give you good advice and there are only a few posts in this:

I know there were two power steering systems on the later 4x4's, the linkage (leakage) setup and a power box.
Sorry I'm not much help but hang in there, there are some experts that should drop in soon. In the meantime, enjoy the site!

Hi Bob, Welcome to FTE I hope that you will find what you are looking for here and will stay awhile.
All of the Front ends are bolt up exchange from 65 to 79, so good luck with the upgrades. I have 76 under my 66.
