I have just asked our present "benefactor" if he would set up a PayPal account expressly for funding domain registration and hosting fees. If he's agreeable, I will certainly be out beating the bushes for "participation", and I KNOW these guys will come through in spades!
Other than cheer-leading, and a registered and willing member of RHN, I am not currently involved in this endeavor, but I'm willing to help where I can.
Go Daddy will not allow me to regain ownership of the donamin name without Neils consent. Bob and I have decided to not persue that aspect of it. The RHN will be hosted on his server and will be Roadside Help Network - RHN instead on .info. Everything else will be the same.
We cannot solicit donations or Pay Pal on the forums. If anyone wants more details either give me a call or send me a pm and I will fill you in as to why. I am working today until noon or so.
I do apologize for the mess here guys. I have been on the phone with so many people from Go Daddy that my head is spinning. It is like beating my head against the wall.
The new link works great! Thanks Jim. We appreciate all the work you have done on this. It is frustrating when something so simple as changing ownership of a domain name becomes such a nightmare but at least Go-Daddy is being careful.
So what's the real deal with the new site. I can get to the home page but I cannot find a login screen, and the links to the Guides/Mods, etc doesn't work. Do I need to pony up some cash before I can get back in?
Well... something is not working correctly for me. I can get to the Roadside Help Network - RHN page with no trouble. I can also get to the Roadside Help Network Database v0.2.3 page with no trouble and even log in at that page. However, every time I click a link from the "Home" page, all I get is the error message from bluehost saying that the the file cannot be found - Error 404.
Are you saying that any of the links on the left side menu from the Home page gives you a 404 error? I am wondering if this is another IE problem? ...............
Yep, I just tried to pull it up with IE and there is no menu on the left at all with IE. It works fine with Firefox.
I guess I will have to work on it some more and figure out why it does not work with IE.
The page is not written as frames so each page has its own menu on the left side. Not that that helps since you can't seem to get there.

I'm a member of RHN but haven't logged in for quite a while but can't get in at all anymore, not even on the new site. I'm moving and will be driving down from Alaska through Canada, Washington, Oregon, California, Arizona, and on to New Mexico. I leave next week and was hoping to log on and print out the member database in case of any issues along the way. I'll be pulling a 27ft car hauler with me. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks Jim and others. I'll throw in some money to paypal also if needed.
