It Runs!!!!!!!!!!!!
Motor is back in and finally got it sparked up!
New fuel pump, starter, batteries, .020 over pistons, bearings,front and rear seals, oil cooler ,o rings, rebuilt injectors.
Whew! Not for the faint of heart, or wallet!
But It sounds great, and hope to have it on the road in next couple weeks!
Have repainted it ,and have alcoa's and BFG's to mount , Also leather buckets from an Expedition, so I still have a bit of work to do.
I know pics!
I promose when it is road ready, i will take some pics.
Back to the barn, want to start and listen to it run some more.

Good going Chris, a good feeling of accomplishment! PM me on the total cost if you don't want to list it here! I've been thinking about it because my oil tests keep coming back with very high cooper and iron????????? My motor might just be screwed, the last test I asked for is a more complete test to see for sure what't going on.

I bought the rebuild kit for motor from Diesel Care and Performance,out of Tenn.Bought the kit thru Ebayfor just under $1K.Had it to my huse in 3 days, and the kit was VERY complete. More Orings than I knew I needed.
Paid about # 300 for block bored,but done very well. And Stage 1 rebuild from Jim. But now I'm happening, and I know this motor will last forever!
