Any body out there remove bubbly bad window tint ?. Is there a easy way to get it off without ruining the rubber. Don't realy want to scrape the windows with razor blades. Any suggestions Thanks
Razor blade around the edges then peal off what you can. Then razor blade off the remaining. Then you will need to remove the glue w some laquer thinner or the like
I was told to use warm soapy water, and a razor blade. It should peel right off. I've never tried it, but the place where I had my Saturn done says this is how to do it.
I have found that some wall paper stripper works pretty good. Taking it off a window that has rear defrost, the razor blade will ruin the defroster grid, so I had to find a better method. I have it half off, just haven't had the time to do it all, as you have to let it soak a while, then come back. Make some marks in the tint with a razor will speed up the process. The remover gets under the tint and you practically wipe it off.
Went to the local watering hole last night a guy told me to use warm ammonia water in sponge or spray bottle let it soak a while and it should peel off then clean glue off with alcohol. I'll try all suggestions and see witch is easer.
thanks to all for the advice I'll post witch method seems easer in a couple days .
Yeah, if your truck has the electric rear window defroster, then that window is very rare, and it would be a shame to destroy something like that with a razorblade.
