Brake Bleed 1997 Expedition

Brake Bleed 1997 Expedition

I just replaced the front calipers and hoses on my Expedition. I can not get a firm brake pedal. I've bleed all four calipers and I have no air bubbles in the fluid. I believe I have air in the ABS system. How do I bleed and do I need a NGS scan tool to repair? If so where can I purchase a reasonable priced NGS scan tool.

Did you bleed the brakes by pumping or with a vacuum tool? I've never had a problem when using a vacuum tool.

Old fashioned bleed, not with a pump. Talked with a mechanic today and am negoiating a price to bleed with the correct tool.
