egr delete

I just purchased a 03 ford f250 6.0 and i hear i need to do a egr delete.I have never owned a diesel can someone give me advice .thanks

You won't likely need to delete the EGR cooler in an 03. They had a pretty stout cooler in them.

My advice to you is spend a LOT of time reading the Tech Folder.

03 colers are not prone to high failer rates. I have changes less then 5 of them sence 03 for internal leaks.

Why would they have gone to a weaker design for later MY engines than?
