2000 Expy 5.4
I Changed out the plugs about 30K ago along with the boots under the COPS. So now i have a miss while driving uphill/accelerating while in overdrive. If I pull my RV it happens anytime I am going uphill while in overdrive or even after the trans. kicks down a gear. I basically have to give it minimal gas to make it up the hill. At low speeds the truck drives great with or without the trailer. I changed out all of the boots(about 4 of them had rust on the spring at the sparkplug end). Test drove and still missing at 45mph+ going uphill in overdrive. Any suggestions would be great. I almost forgot there are no codes being thrown. I hate to take it to a mechanic but I am out of ideas.
My only suggestion is if you can get your hands on a OBD-II scanner that displays live data. Then you could watch it as you're driving to see the misfire counts per cylinder as it happens.
