I've got a '99 Expedition, 64K miles, 4 corner load leveling system. The front shocks are making "moaning" noises (no jokes, please ) when I go over speed bumps or anything that causes them to flex ( absorb "shocks"). Ordinarily, I would replace normal shocks (at $50 each, there's no reason not to) but these air shocks are something like $125-150/each from the dealer. Is there any kind of remedy to my problem? Does anyone make a comparable aftermarket air shock for this truck? Thanks for any help.
