Hello all,
I have a 86' Bronco(5 speed, 302 V8) that i just love to death, but a couple of months ago it started acting funny, every time the engine would get up to 3000 rpm it would start cutting out, and at the same time the engine has to crank for a few and i usually have to tap the gas to get it started, I have replaced the front fuel pump, and the temp sensor to see if that made a difference but no go. Can someone Please HELP ME!!!!!
Have you replaced your fuel filter as well. you might also check all your plugs and cap make sure they are in good shape. Might just be time for a tune up? but the fuel filter would be my guess at this point
ok i got the fuel filter and went to put it on and I can't seem to find it, it was pretty cold here so i might of over looked it but where is it located.
Under your feet inside the frame rail. Pull the codes and consider replacing the coil. In any case, diagnose the ignition system per Haynes or maybe Chilton's.
