So if...a IPR sticks open (no Pressure)...OR no command to close... will the HPOP res. drain itself with extended cranking during a "no start" situation?

if the low pressure oil pump can't keep up its the most likely culprit ...As I said , Injector O rings can cause it too...There is also a valve in the oil filter header that can fall out of the early model engines
wiring harnes form the fuel bowl to the heater elemeent,IPR.ect. was cracted, and in several places you could see open wires. So sense I was replacing the IPR it would have been foolish not to replace the wiring harnes
Well I have It running, and It starts right up. But I've had a cold engine miss, so I took valve cover off and one of the injectors is not firing, unplugged it and it is getting power to it. When the engine warms up the injecter will start firing. their is no leaking for the O ring . So I think it is just gumed up or somethink . Can the injecter be taken out and cleaned and if so what is the best way to take them out? Thanks
