Frame swap
What year frames interchange? I have an 84 shorty stepside F-150. Do frames from 87 up match up? My bed was rotted through so I tore it down to frame. Where the cross sills rest on the top of the frame is rotted through. Im planning on patching but was curious about the years that could interchange. The sides and underneath are still strong just the top portions that the bolts ran through are shot.
