Front diff covers
They hit them with a sledge, ran them over with a bull dozer, tried to puncture them with the teeth of the bull dozer, dumped boulders on them, etc..........
And wouldn't you know it, the one that didn't show any signs of wear was the Molten Image Design one. Similar to the one in this pic but not the exact one.
I just thought it was funny.
No abendx, I don't work for Molten Image Design either.
And I thought that was an impression of ABENDX's face after Donahoe threw a diff cover at him
Could Abendx have been the model for the mold?
Abendx can you get me a discount on Molten Image stuff? They're too much $$$$$$$$$$ for me.... but maybe with your employee discount....

Where did you see this comparison? I always thought one of these would look pretty wild on my crawler's front diff, but blew them off as being novelty items that wouldn't stand a chance in the rocks. I wanna see with my own eyes!!

When I saw it I thought that these would be the weakest too.
It's in the new Peterson's 4 Wheel & Off-Road April 2003. It has pics of them with the sledge, bull dozer and boulders on these things. Funniest part is when they said they hit the Clear Gearz with the sledge and that it bounced back at them and almost embedded their safety goggles into their skull
