We are all boys (and gals) with toys and egos and beer.

With a combination like that, How can 'things' Not get out of hand a time or two.

Forgive me Lord for my pride and my bad *** 7.3 (that my wife made me buy). May I always have a cold beer in the Fridge for my FTE Brothers. Words cut deep and nothing should ever be said that is not in the way of lifting each other up.

For one, I wish to apoligise to Steward for the diolog about transmissions.

[[[A man was in the hospital recovering from a fall off his roof. He looked at his wife and said, "Wanda, you have always been there. When I flunked the tenth grade, you were there. When I wrecked my dad's new car, you were there. When I got fired at the plant, you were there. When I lost my savings on the ostrich farm, you were there. And now, I have broken my arm and leg falling off the roof, and there you were. Wanda, you are nothing but bad luck!" ]]]

{{{William Law, in his "Serious Call to a Devout and Holy Life" writes, "Would you know who is the greatest saint in the world? It is not he who prays most or fasts most; it is not he who gives most alms, or is most eminent for temperance, chastity, or justice, but it is he who is always thankful to God, who wills everything that God willeth, who received everything as an instance of God's goodness, and has a heart always ready to praise God for it." }}}

I understand why Jim felt the need to speak up but as a relative newb I have to say that if what I have seen lately is considered worthy of a moderator's intervention then FTE is in pretty good shape.

I had pretty well given up on participating in any diesel forums until I found this place. The others I checked out were full of the biggest bunch of childish, irritating, nyah nyah nah nyah nyah, my-injectors-are-bigger-than-yours, overgrown crybabies I've seen since I graduated from kindergarten. There was no need to even bother posting unless you had your asbestos suit handy.

Thanks to FTE, I've gone from thinking that the internet diesel pickup community is one of the worst groups of people I've come across to thinking that its one of the best.

As you were.

It's ok not to agree with everything, as long as you don't not agree with me. .

If any bashing starts at all an infraction will be issued.

This forum used to be self policing and things like this never happened in here. Lets go back to that way.

Come to think of it Ed referred me to some shady, shady business so I would rep him when the incompetent failures failed and he looked like a knight in shining......... sorry, I can't finish that.
