How many hours?

How many hours should a dealership charge for a cab off head gasket and stud replacement on the 6.0? If changing the oil cooler and egr cooler what additional hours would be added onto the total charge? Thanks in advance for anyones help.

Don't know how much parts are, the labor in hours does vary from place to place though no cab removal needed for any of that work.

But a lot of the dealers do it that way! They did with mine. I had to re-install all the bolts they "forgot" to install.

Also be aware that no all dealerships will install studs.

Thanks for the input guys, I thought maybe one of the good techs on the site would let me know how many hours the job should bill out at.

When the dealer pulled my engine for the bedplate leak, they said it would be 5 extra hours labor to pull heads, clean, and replace bolts w/studs. I opted not to do it b/c I had never had any trouble with the headgaskets. I think the total cost was gonna be about $1500 including stud purchase and gaskets for doing the heads. Of course they wanted to charge me $100 an hour for labor too.
