HELP! 2.5L Starting Issues

99 2.5L Auto. Truck has issues starting, it will crank over begin to start and stall out. to get the truck to start i have to give it gas and continue giving it gas to keep it running, if i take my foot off the gas the truck stalls out and dies. once the truck gets up to operating temperature (with my foot on the gas keeping it idling) it runs kinda rough then runs fine and has no problem driving. the truck starts up fine on these cold november mornings, i put some HEET (dry gas) in it to absorb maybe some moisture. also the truck isn't throwing any codes either, it only has happend twice in the past 5 days, during the day, when im going to leave work. any insight or advice would be much appreciated, thanks in advance.

I would try cleaning or replacing the Idle air controller. I have seen them act up on cold mornings I figure they are getting dirty or holding some mositure and not working correctly until they thaw out.

you were correct sir, since a new one was only $35 i figured since i already had it out why not just replace it to make sure, it was extremely simple. runs like a champ now thanks!
