No updates as of yet. The boxes were moved from one side of the basement to the other. It's snowed and way to cold for me to do anything outside on the truck. My fence posts are close together and cant fit in the backyard to utilize my garage or else I would have done some stuff already.

When I do start pictures of progression will be posted.

The defender roof rack arrived yesterday. One day earlier than expected.

The flip side to that is the shirt that was ordered also is on back order. Originally they said it would be inside the box with the third item. Once again, something was told that wasn't true.

If the roof rack didn't look cool, I sure would've got one from another company.

www.offroadunlimited.com sure sucks at customer service.

Finally, I've had time to install my new water pump, thermo housing, thermo, and thermo sensor.

It's hard to get the soon to be ex-wife, kids and mother inlaw out of the house.

Here is the start of it.:

Old pump removed.

Picture below is the opening where the new pump is going. Just tilt your head. It's looking from the drivers side fender.

Picture below is blurry, sorry. Basically same concept as above.

New pump, thermo housing, thermo (thanks Riffraff). New thermo sensor (on site).

Better piture of the front opening below.

Sorry. Another blurry picture.

New pump and acc. installed and almost ready to go.

Better picture, but not much to see.

As in most pictures posted there is usually a can or more of beer. Well not today. I was using my wife's uncles shop to do the replacement, and he was open today.

I'm going to try and install the recon lights tomorrow. So long as the rain holds off.

Day #2: installation of the Recon big rig running lights.

I removed the running boards a little while ago. Hey michigan winters, thanks for the snow and salt.

Kit came with everything. wire adaptors with crappy zip ties. Self tapping screws.

Here is were I tapped the new wires into the healight harness. Notice on the headlight harness, both of the snaps are broken off. That was done with barely any pressure applied.

I will vent for a minute now:

I will get pictures of the night time use once I can figure out how to turn off the flash. I have a Rebel SLR with tons of options, but not one easy button NO FLASH.

You can get new pigtails (Ford dealer about $18 each) for your headlight harness...they get hot and become brittle...common for them to break. I replaced both of mine a couple of months ago when I broke mine installing new headlight bulbs.

Dont remember if I posted brand or anything on this. Purchased from www.offroadunlimited.com Customer service sucks, and waited forever. Lied to several times of location and status of the process. Only plus side is that it looks cool.

Mount PIAA 1500 rectangular lights on the rear for reverse back up lights and for tailgators....

I'll try tonight. The SLR camera I have wont let me take the picture holding down the pop up flash. I'll search through the functions and try to disable the flash at night.

Found a different camera for the night time shot of the lights.

Couple days ago mounted the air compressors and air tank.

Pictures to follow weather permitting tomorrow.

As of yesterday, I modified the mounting bracket for the Vivair gauge. I plan on mounting it the glove box. The bracket came with a on/off switch and opneing for the gauge. I just cut off the piece for the switch and repainted.

I switched the PIAA rear lights wiring to work with the Carling switch used on the F650 dash.

Hoping the rain holds off I will to the same to the front PIAA lights.

In case it's helpful, here's where I put my viair gauge.
