You need to go on fordvehicles.com and go to brochures. Order a superduty brochure and when you get it sometimes there are coupons attached from $750 to $1500. When I ordered my superduty I had a $750 coupon but by the time my truck was delivered I received a $1500 my ford direct PCO offer in my quarterly Ford pamphlet and used that instead.
I sent away for one several weeks ago. And haven't seen anything, so I called the 800#
They found me in their database, and said it was in their system. $750 expires on 12/20. He gave me my customer reference number to save the dealer time looking it up....
Thats what I did and when it got ready to expire I called them to see if I could get it extended they told me that a $1500 coupon was on its way to me so I got an extra $750 out of the deal.
Talk about the coupon got me thinking (usually not a good thing) and was wondering that since they are so easy to get - could the dealership request a brochure in your name and have it sent to them? Then keep the $750 or $1,500?
The reasons it crossed my mind is two fold. 1)When the dealership gave me their best price after discounts, rebates, taxes, trade in, etc.. they were at $42,500, I turned it down and told them if they got the number to $40,500 I would purchase it. Magically they gave me another $900 for my trade in and included an additional $750 rebate and lowered the new truck price by another $350. I wonder if the rebate was the Ford brochure thing. 2) The salesman told me that anything less than an excellent rating on the customer satisfaction survey would be bad. I had an issue with some aftermarket stuff that the dealer had installed (later received a refund after they sent the check to the wrong address initially). When the "customer service manager" called and asked how the purchase went I told her and she also mentioned the survey. Well as of last week I did had not received the survey from Ford so I called the customer service lady back and asked her why it hadn't arrived. I suspected that they somehow had it sent to them so that they would get the rating that they wanted. She didn't know, but gave me a coupon for a free oil change. Maybe this conspiracy way of thinking is just because I don't trust dealers in general.
LI - it sounds like you found yourself in the situation I am in. It would appear that my coupon is going to expire about a week before my truck arrives. What phone number for customer service did you call and what did you tell them to get them to pony up a better and newer coupon. Thanks for your help

It's not a coupon in the sense you are referring.
It's by your name / address / Zip code, etc.
You don't even need the piece of paper, they can look it up online. It's your by name..... Not sure how a central location with a single address is going to get more than one..

Reason: phone number added
So the truck is on order. Can someone confirm how long the coupon is good for once they issue it? So I'm assuming that it takes about 3 weeks to get the brochure and the coupon itself is good for a month? So from the day you order it online, it will expire 6-7 weeks from then. I'm like everyone else and trying to time the coupon with delivery. Trying to wait as long as possible to ensure I can use it. Thanks for the input.
The dates vary. You can call customer service and they will tell you what coupons and incentives you are eligible for. Usually when 1 coupon is about to expire they issue you another. Sometimes for a larger amount which is what happened to me. Good luck
I negotiated hard with the dealer and then ordered the truck. I heard about the brochure and $750 discount sometime later. I brought my discount into the dealer yesterday and showed it to him, and he added it in happily. My wife was skeptical but pleasantly suprised.
