I really have nothing to compare it to as my last tow vehicle was a GMC SUV 6cyl pulling a 19ft Ultralite trailer, rather than a 6800lb truck pulling a 7800lb trailer. Gas mileage pulling up hills isn't great (about 8mpg), but no problems power wise. The truck handles it just fine. The TS AUTO seems to match the RPM's to the road conditions superbly. Again, though, I have no comparisons.
