Window question

Are the manual door windows out of an 85 f-150 the same as the electric windows of a 92 f-150? This 92 ford I bought this spring has window tint on the windows I can't get off, so I was going to pull the windows off a parts truck that has manual windows, just need to know if they will interchange, thanks for any help.

window Tint removal

Window tinting shops can remove it for you probably cheaper than replacing the windows I believe they use a liquid chemical that cuts it,it is just a coating on the interior, personally I just use a 4" razor scraper that scrapes it off clean, like this one hope this helps.

I will check into that, guess it would be easier than swapping out the windows. They are getting hard to see out of so I would like to get the stuff off, thanks for the reply.

No. You are wrong. They are different
The 80-86 glass is wider than the 87-97 glass

To the OP. Just use a razor blade to take the tint off, then go over it with laquer thinner or something similar to cut the glue
