Parts

I have a 94 f-250 with the 460 that has been down for about 2 months. I can't seem to find an accurate wiring diagram, ignition suppression resistor, a/c clutch diode, or a master cylinder for it. I've checked surrounding dealersips, junkyards, and several on line companies with no luck. This site is my last hope, so if anybody can help it would greatly be appreciated.

While I admit that finding the first three items might be challenging the fact that you couldn't find a master cylinder for it tells me you didn't look very hard for one. ANY parts store should have one on the shelf but, just in case you find the one in a thousand that doesn't, they should be able to order one and have it in your hands in a couple days.

The wiring diagram will be in a factory service manual, try eBay for one of those.

The ignition suppression resistor isn't required for the engine to run, don't worry about it. All it does is keep ignition noise from being transmitted through the radio. These days, a good set of plug wires and some resistor spark plugs will stop that.

I have never heard of an A/C clutch diode and I have been in retail parts sales for ten years. can't help you there.

Take a look at Rockauto.com They have tons of parts and great prices to boot.

However I agree if you cant find a Master Cylinder that's just crazy or your just not looking.

Maybe hit up your local library and see if they have a factory service manual on your truck.. the one by me has a ton of them. Try searching the post here as I recall there was a thread on a ignition suppression resistor I think someone posted how to make your own.

Good luck, take some time and look around its all out there just have to find it.

Yes i agree about the master cylinder, that is why i have found 8 different ones with no luck. Either it has speed control switch and not the right bore size or vice vrse. The one i need is discontinued, i tracked that down by the forge #. the a/c clutch diode is inside the wiring harness itself, which is why I'm having trouble with it. Nobody sells the diode or resistors seperate, only in complete harnesses. But i have rewired my truck front to back so i only need these few parts. but thank for the other advice, please keep it coming and I'll check rockauto.com

If you know the diode you need, try looking at Radio Shack or a electronics supply place for the diode you need, as for the master cylinder, the only thing I see is some are listed as 1 1/8 bore and some as 1.13 bore, which is a moot point as 1 1/8 converts to 1.125".
