Engine Idle Problems
I have a 1992 F150 with a 302 engine. The engine will knock off when in park and the engine is idling. I replaced the electronic idle control valve, EGR valve, and the purge valve solenoid. The problem still exists.
When I remove the vacuum hose from the engine assembly that attaches to the purge valve solenoid, the problem goes away. Any thoughts?
