Ok noticed other day my ebv valve actuator arm was popped off my 2002 Excursion, the little metal rod coming from the flapper valve part...no biggie, just popped it back on... ran it the other day and parked it to fix my ccv o ring issue... anyway, decided just to take another look and its popped off again... I grabbed the little metal nipple on the flapper valve and I cant budge it....
So I am wondering just how hard is it to move that thing AND is it open./closed and will it make much of difference i/e burn my motor up!!! I heard something about egt's mentioned in a few posts... I am going to hook it up again and see what happens...I plan on gutting it but I have ebv issues with my f350 atm that need attention....
I am not running my EX much atm... simply because I have had so much going on with it..
I am quickly becoming a posting guru as well as a half-way decent wrencher on top of these 7.3's!!! LOL
Will post pic in a bit....
