2001 Power Mirrors

My power mirrors on my 01/F350 are way out of whack. Do not respond correctly to control button in any direction. Any help?

When mine did this it was the mirror control button. Check fuse first. The first button I bought from local dealer and was not cheap. The second button I bought from edpartsguy much more affordable. If I remember correctly the mirror button is one that can be purchased separately. Edpartsguy is at top of page. The plastic piece that holds the mirror, window, and door lock buttons just lifts off front first easily and carefully. Perform a door panel search or door lock actuators search for some pics. Hope it helps and if it is the button it is easy fix.

Power mirrors

Right answer. Less than 30 bucks at Ford and 15 minutes to change. breakdown probably due to rain water! Thanks for help.

Glad you were able to fix it that easy and it did not break the bank. I never thought about rain until you mentioned it, I had blamed mine on armour all. I do not know if you saw the edpartsguy at the top of the page, but he sells Ford OEM parts just like your local dealer and if you can wait has waaaaaaay better prices.
