What I hate worse than a rattle is BUGS splattering the front of my new truck. What, if anything do you use on your windshield, grill, and bumper to make it easy for cleaning these nasty creatures off. I'm a big believer in 303 Aerospace Protectant, but that doesn't seem to do the trick.

Well if you are done with the 303 you can come and use it on my trailer LOL.
Now if I am going to tow far in the summer. I will spray the front of the grill with "PAM". For everyday I just make sure it has a good coat of wax.Seems to work for me ,even the love bugs come off.
The last time I washed my truck I took the grille off and moved it to a small work bench I have. It seemed to make it easier and I could clean the radiator more easily.
I had a lot of bugs that time...

Finally somebody else that knows about those acidic little bugs..I just have to wash my mustang everyday when I lived there because of those darn things.
Love bugs, I thought everyone knew about those degenerate creatures. I guess you have to live in the south to appreciate them. As far as using PAM, I'd be real careful, it's loaded with Soy and Soy tends to cause deterioration in paint. Just a suggestion. I'm beginning to think a heavy dose of wax and rain-x is the best solution.

As far as Oklahoma and texas and north of there..those bugs don't exist..I just know of them from FL.
Ur right about the Pam though....it softens the paint.
Couple of fresh coats of wax work well for me.
Ladybugs (love bugs) get into everything.
Certain times of the year, they get into the house.
How they get in, I have no idea. I keep looking for holes.
