Need build date
I ran into the same thing. What I found out is the VIN/window sticker link will only begin working the week prior to the actual build week. You are probably like me, thinking with a VIN in hand, that the vehicle will be built soon -- in my case it is not. When the dealer is able to tell you the build date, you can then pull the sticker one week prior to the actual build.
