I'd imagine it would just be easier to purchase this one:
73-76 360,390 V8 Thermostat Housing Steel
A local parts store probably has them too. But a 390 will for sure have the same water neck...dunno about other FE's.

360 is an FE engine family so any from an FE will work and should be at any parts store. Get a good one as the cheap ones sometimes need to be machined or filed flat to get them to fit without leaking. To know I get an OEM quality one I go to the junk yard for a part like that if at all in doubt of the parts house one.
