How to improve turning radius?

i think, it depends - if his tires hit the control arm or the anti-sway bar before this axle hit its steering stops then moving the wheels an inch out may give him the extra space he needs without catching on bumpers and fenders. I am definitely not suggesting getting wheels that stick half a foot out the fender and make you think OMG that poor axle is crying for mercy right now - just a little to clear the control arms, if that is the problem to begin with.

Well I had 15x8 wheels with a differernt offset and it didn't help anything on my truck. Its turning raduis was a little wider from what I remember. It turns sharper with the stock wheels that are on it now. It also tracks down the highway better. I would not change the stock wheels.
Theses trucks don't have the best turning radius in the first place. I'm thinking that there is probably nothing wrong with the truck. Can you take a picture of the wheels at full turn?
